Meet
Ryan Mckenney
Ryan McKenney is the person behind McKenney & Co. Accounting.
With 15 years of experience in the St. Augustine area, Ryan has supported everything from small businesses and nonprofits to large organizations. His background covers financial strategy, bookkeeping, and business operations. What really sets him apart is his personal, hands-on approach.
Originally from Michigan, Ryan grew up working in his family’s business and saw firsthand the pressures that come with running one. That experience shaped how he shows up for his clients: with empathy, practical solutions, and a real understanding of what small business owners face.
He earned a B.A. in History from Albion College, a B.B.A. in Accounting from Siena Heights University, and an M.B.A. from Ole Miss. After moving to St. Augustine in 2011, he and his wife Ashley put down roots and are now raising four kids: Henry, Maeve, Stella, and Rosie.
For Ryan, bookkeeping isn’t just a task to check off. It’s the foundation for confident decision-making. His goal is to make your books easier to manage, easier to understand, and something you don’t have to stress about.
When he’s not working, you’ll find him out exploring St. Augustine with his family, supporting local businesses, or enjoying the slower pace of coastal life that brought them here in the first place.
